About Overdrive

Overdrive is a fanblog dedicated to I've Sound utahime and famed anison singer Kawada Mami. All news related to her career (live events, setlists, releases) will be featured on this blog. Reviews of such releases, and even screencaps and random photos are also dumped in on this tiny haven for Mami fans.

This blog also serves reviews of songs released by current or former I've Sound artists (i.e. KOTOKO, Larval Stage Planning, Eiko Shimamiya) every now and then.

  1. Hi, I'm the Filipino reader again. I was wondering - what countries has Mami gone to? I know she had a concert in Taiwan, and the Serment PV was shot in the Czech Republic, but has she gone anywhere else? Like the Philippines?

    1. Hey! Good to see you here again. :)
Hmm, that's basically it. They really don't reveal much info on where she goes to and when. But, I've heard rumors that her L'Oiseau Bleu PV was shot in the Philippines. There was no confirmation about that but if you look at the PV, it seems the setting and the people look like that in the Philippines, or if not, from south Asia. Also, I'm not sure but it seems she's also gone to Paris.

Anyway, these are only unconfirmed rumors and speculations. I wish they or Mami herself would reveal more info on these but sadly, they don't. :(

  2. Well Guam's near Saipan, Guam has plenty of Filipinos that it might as well be a province of the Philippines rather than a territory of the US, and Both Guam and Saipan were part of the Spanish East Indies, whose capital was... Manila. Close enough.
