Mami Kawada on Misawa Sachika's song

Another job as lyricist was again granted onto Mami Kawada. This time, she wrote a song for Misawa Sachika's upcoming first mini album Polaris, slated for release this February 20, 2013 under Warner Home Video. Unsurprisingly, 4 out of 6 tracks in the album will be I've-produced. All songs in this album will then be used in the upcoming To Aru Majutsu no Index -Endymion no Kiseki- film. [Single Review] Restart by KOTOKO

Restart is KOTOKO's 19th single released this December 19, 2012 under Geneon Universal Entertainment. The titular track was used as the opening theme for Bushiroad's iPhone/Android game called Renai Replay, while the B-side was used as the ending theme. 

After releasing two singles and an album under Warner Home Video, KOTOKO now released a new single under her previous label Geneon. And this seemingly one-time comeback also merited another collaboration with the I've Sound producers, as one would expect. So, I've fans, to rejoice or not?

Here goes a personal post.

So, I asked my sister to draw me a portrait of Mami Kawada. And she did. Here it is.

It was her first time on portraiture, but this one turned out quite well. I was happy to see the result. And then I decided to tweet Mami herself and show her this photo. I was not expecting a reply that much since my past attempts to get a reply from her were all in vain. But... this time was different. I got a reply from her! 

 

Which I automatically favorited and retweeted, of course (yes yes, my Twitter username is kawadaholic). This made my day, and made me really happy. I never knew receiving a reply tweet from your idol could be this fulfilling and euphoric. And with that, I asked my sister again for more Mami Kawada portraits. So, tune in for more of her portraits!
