[Single Review] Borderland by Mami Kawada

Borderland is Mami Kawada's 12th single released this May 30, 2012 under Geneon Entertainment. The titular track was used as the opening theme for the action anime Jormungand. Being more like a sister anime to Black Lagoon, Jormungand was expected to be tied up with MELL. However, her absence from the spotlight due to medical reasons, they say, gave Mami Kawada her newest anime tie-up in about 4 years. 

A new tie-up grants exposure to probably a different set of audience in Japan, or even in the whole world.  Was Borderland worthy of this chance? Did it live up to expectations?

Animelo 2012 Theme Song

I've Sound finally revealed information on the two new songs that will be included on the Best Compilation CDs. Both compilations will be out in the market this June 29, 2012.

→unfinished→ is KOTOKO's 18th single released this May 16, 2012 under Warner Home Video. The titular track was used as an ending theme for the anime Accel World. After working with the famous ryo (supercell) for her previous Light my fire single, KOTOKO was then again tied up to a producer who's just as popular. However, was this involvement good enough?
